About Martha

Martha Granger has been a professional photographer for over twenty years. Her clients include: The American Museum of Natural History, The United Nations, Newsweek, Panasonic, McGraw-Hill, and many others. She has been published in The New York Times, New York Magazine, The Village Voice, Newsweek, and more foreign-language textbooks than she cares to count. After living in Madrid for a year, Martha became a still photographer and worked under contract, traveling extensively throughout Europe, Central and South America, and the Caribbean. Back in New York City, she shot stills for feature films, once being plucked out of the crew by Russell Crowe to play his date; her big screen debut! Before becoming a professional, Martha was the producer for Barbara Campbell, one of the top child print photographers in the industry, working on numerous national print campaigns and TV ads. Later, she was an animal wrangler for ‘pet photographer of the rich and famous’, Jim Dratfield. Setting aside her travels to become a mother, Martha’s camera naturally focused on her children. Together with her past experience, this inspired her current passion of shooting babies, children, expecting mothers, and pets.
